6 Diverse Business Women Working Together

ECONOMIC IMPACT AND MARKET ACCESS

The exploding growth of online business has changed the landscape of opportunities for small businesses and opened the world to them. But the traditional barriers that marginalized businesses experience offline, also exist in the digital ecosystem. Small, women-owned businesses engaged in ecommerce lack access to effective training and business networks, to professional mentoring and to communities with shared experiences.

When women-owned ecommerce businesses are provided support and training through the WMarketplace Accelerator they are positioned to take advantage of our increasingly digitalized economy and grow more efficiently and effectively. This growth positively impacts families and communities through employment, investment and economic stability.

With access to live, instructor-led workshops through virtual classrooms, businesses in every consumer goods sector and geography, including small, rural businesses now can access the ecosystem of support they need to be set up for success.

WMARKETPLACE ECOSYSTEM

The WMarketplace Accelerator has welcomed over 140 women-owned small businesses onto
our nation-wide ecommerce sales channel that has a membership of over 500 businesses that is
growing weekly. Shoppers are able to find products and services from our diverse group of
sellers in categories ranging from beauty and wellness to specialty foods to home decor.
